Experts from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) have presented an interesting plan regarding a football match on the moon.

According to experts, in the match played on the moon, both teams will consist of five players and the game will be played in four quarters of 10 minutes. Between each quarter, the players will be given a break of 20 minutes. Scientists said that on the surface of the moon, the players will not wear traditional clothes to play the game, but will wear heavy space suits, which will have a cooling system installed inside.

The responsibility of supervising the match will not be on a human but on referees closer to the virtual assistant referee. That is, hologram referees will be seen running on the pitch and will show virtual red and yellow flags.

Experts believe that the duration of the matches played on the moon should be halved so that the safety of the players can be taken care of.

A 20-minute break will help the team to freshen up and repair equipment.
